The SingOut! staff are all trained professionals with years of experience teaching, performing and directing. Furthermore, the staff has passion for what they are doing. The staff members spend hours working with the kids and families of SO not only creating amazing productions but also creating responsible community leaders.
Rachel Pergamit - Managing Director
Rachel Pergamit has been acting, directing and producing in the Bay Area for more than 35 years. After years as a youth director, mainstage director/producer and performer, she joined (in 1999) the City of Walnut Creek – Civic Arts Education. Rachel filled the role as both director and producer for the original Jr. Theatre program and expanded it to create the Youth Theatre Company. Rachel was CAE's Production Coordinator for 15 years and produced more than 20 events a year and led YTC on their award-winning Jr. Theatre Festival and Teen Theatre trips. A two-time Shellie Award winner, Rachel's passion as a theatre arts educator keeps her fairly busy – not to mention raising her children. Rachel is thrilled to be joining Chelsea, Kevin and Michelle on this exciting adventure at SingOut!

Chelsea Bardellini - SingOut Artistic Director Director/Choreographer
Chelsea has been dancing since the age of three and became a professional dancer at the age of fourteen. She has a BA in Theatre and Dance from USC and has numerous awards and nominations in choreography, direction, and professional ballroom dance. She has been an instructor/choreographer for the University of Southern California, the Piedmont Ballet Academy, the Borgata Music House, the K.Y.D.S. program with the LA Unified School District, Performing Arts Workshops LA, Happy Feet School of Dance, Art and Soul Music and Dance, and Arthur Murray Walnut Creek and she has directed/choreographed over 100 musicals. Chelsea loves her job and is super excited to be on this magical theatrical ride with Kevin, Rachel and Michelle and can't imagine anything more thrilling!

Kevin Weinert - Musical Director & Assistant Artistic Director
Kevin Weinert began working as the Music Director for the Youth Theatre Company in 2000. As the Music Director for all of the YTC productions, Kevin was also the Sound Designer and Technician. Kevin has a B.A. in Christian Education and a Master's Degree in Theatre Arts. He also runs a character education storytelling business called The Man with Two Hands (www.themandwithtwohands.com), delivering entertaining assemblies in schools on topics like bullying, character development, and more. Kevin is thrilled to be part of the SingOut family and to be working with Chelsea, Rachel, and Michelle.

Musical Theatre Director
A native of Ohio, Michelle began acting in musical theatre when she was eleven years old. She directed children’s musicals throughout Ohio before moving to California with her family in 2017. Michelle has a B.A. and a Master’s Degree in American History. She is so grateful for the opportunity SingOut has provided her to return to the theatre life. When not directing our Mini Kids and Kids Theatre, Michelle is at home raising two adorable little girls who have already been bitten by the theatre bug.
